Summary:
Our client, a next-generation logistics startup, is seeking motivated individuals to join our quickly growing Operations Team for the role of Scheduling Coordinator. You will work in the trenches of a startup as a member of the close-knit group that drives the company’s core activity.
  • Develop and maintain driver schedules across major US markets, balancing forecasting requirements with scheduling targets.
  • Support the operations team and oversee daily schedule changes to ensure real time driver coverage.
  • Manage relationships with drivers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Respond to driver correspondences via multiple channels
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to determine driver capacity and schedule drivers accordingly
Requirements:
  • 2 years experience in account management, project management, scheduling, or other relevant experience.
  • Passion, creativity, and the ability to excel in fast-paced, fluid environments
  • Resourcefulness, highly organized, and a multitasker
  • You have operations or customer service experience
  • You communicate effectively, clearly, confidently and are patient with others
  • You are flexible and ready for a challenge at a moment’s notice. You know that startups change at the drop of a hat, but you’re excited to evolve professionally and learn everyday
  • MS Office and/or Google Docs proficiency
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as: Salesforce Desk, desk.com, Zendesk
  • You are willing to be on call during weekends and evenings
