SUMMARY:
 
Supports Security, Metrology Technicians, Equipment Technicians, Manufacturing, and Self-Evaluation Teams throughout the organization in the area of “Classified” test equipment sanitization, test equipment inventory, onsite calibrations, particle counts and issuing and receiving test equipment to/from technicians.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DUTIES:
 
           Performs sanitization of all classified test equipment in accordance with procedures, prior to equipment leaving the closed area.
                         Control test equipment  inventory,  conduct  weekly  physical  inventory  of  all  asset’d  test
equipment in the area of responsibility.
                         Performs onsite calibrations in area of responsibility.
                         Performs particle counts throughout manufacturing, areas as needed.
           Track  the  transfer  of  equipment  from  one  department to  another;  deliver  equipment  as required.
           Keeps abreast of and complies with company calibration and security equipment sanitization processes.
                         Conducts hard drive imaging for test equipment.
                         Conducts software updates on test equipment.
           Establishes, maintains and processes files, records, certificates, and/or other documents for area of responsibility.
           Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices; maintain a clean and safe work area.
                         Improve and maintain 5S in area of responsibility, make suggestions for improvements.
           Participate in Lean/Six Sigma activities in area of responsibility as well as events for other areas to enhance cross-functional problem solving.
                         Collaborate in team meetings and activities, including SET team support as appropriate.
                         Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Military background desired
  1. USMC MOS 63XX, 06XX,
  2. Navy Rates Electronic Technicians (ETs)  ET(N) - Nuclear Trained Electronics 
  3. Army MOS 94F
  4. Air Force 2A5X3
 
 
           At least one (1) years of related experience; prior use of hand and power tools; knowledge of standard administrative and clerical procedures including managing files and records; High School or GED, required; Associate’s degree or technical school strongly preferred.
           Technical skills: Basic knowledge of test equipment; familiarity with hand and power tools, strong organizational skills preferred.
           Office equipment: ability to use general office equipment; basic knowledge of alphanumeric filling system.
           Communication skills: ability to receive messages by telephone, in person, electronically and in writing; ask questions and rephrase statements to clarify meaning; ability to read, interpret and comprehend written and verbal instructions, including correspondence and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees within the organization; ability communicate with quality, integrity and respect in a way that inspires others and encourages innovation and possibilities; ability to interact with customers; proficient English reading level to understand technical terminology used within the organization;
           Math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent; and to draw and interpret bar graphs;
           Reasoning  skills:  ability  to  deal  with  problems  involving  several  concrete  variables  in standardized situations;
           Computer skills: Intermediate to advanced skills level in Excel and familiarity with Outlook required.  Good working knowledge of MS Work, Access, Power Point or Indysoft helpful; ability to use Enterprise-wide information systems such as SAP or other program.
           Time Management & organizational skills: flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to effectively and efficiently multi- task.
 
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: SECURITY
                         Required to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires US Citizenship
