The Financial Analyst role is responsible for standard reporting and analysis specific to supporting operationally, metric-driven components within a collaborative Global Business Services environment to include: scorecard reporting, dashboard analytics, labor and overhead variance analysis, standard costing and bill of material management. In addition, as a team member of the center of excellence, the financial analyst acts as a liaison with manufacturing plants, business units as well as internal/external stakeholders within the GBS.
 
Responsibilities:
• Prepares actionable reporting and analysis to support financial manufacturing metrics and internal/external reporting processes.
• Communicates with colleagues at various manufacturing locations to resolve issues, advise on discrepancies and follow through with appropriate action.
• Implements changes to continually improve processes, support standardization and effectiveness of GBS.
• Involved with the team coordination of unique business processes into one standardized process.
• Collaborates with manufacturing facilities to input and maintain into MP/AX applicable product costing master data, including standard costs, bill of materials, and routings.
• Works as team member to ensure all schedules and deadlines are met on time and accurately in accordance with service level agreements.
• Adheres to and interprets corporate accounting policies and guidelines.
• Documents policies, procedures, workflow and checklists for assigned responsibilities.
• Confirms and abides by all regulatory guidance and internal policies and procedures.
• Provides SOX compliance and audit reviews.
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to exercise independent judgment to ascertain the reasonableness and accuracy of information.
• Strong data mining background.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel and Access.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other groups within GBS structure.
• Strong analytical, and problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of the organization.
• Customer focused with strong attention to detail.
• Prior MS Dynamics AX experience.
 
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of Finance/Cost Accounting within a Manufacturing environment.
