Our client is a growing, dynamic Fortune 100 company focused on developing inhalation combination therapies for the treatment of highly prevalent chronic respiratory diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.  We are seeking to hire individuals that bring energy and passion to deliver the medicines that provide patients and healthcare provider’s therapies to achieve better clinical outcomes. The principal objective of this position is to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and maintain production readiness in our Redwood City Manufacturing Facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Material dispensing 
    • Perform dispensing and kitting of consumables and raw materials for production uses. 
    • Work with gloveboxes or isolators 
    • Maintain accurate inventory of consumables and raw materials in production area. 
  • Emulsion Preparation 
    • Prepare emulsion as process intermediate drug excipient. 
    • Work with high shear mixers and high-pressure homogenizers. 
    • Perform in-process measurements and data recording 
  • Spray Dry / API production 
    • Perform spraying drying and micronizing to produce excipient and API. 
    • Work with spray dryers and jet mills 
    • Work with gloveboxes or isolators for product sampling and collection 
    • Perform in-process measurements and data recording 
    • Perform product packaging 
  • Cleaning 
    • Work with parts washer and CIP skid for equipment cleaning 
    • Perform manual equipment cleaning 
Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma 
  • Preferred 1-3 years of GMP experience 
  • Knowledge of GDP, cGMP 
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations 
  • Basic troubleshooting 
  • Initiating unplanned deviations 
  • Basic MS knowledge 
  • Effective verbal and written communication 
  • Effectively read, understand and execute GMP written information 
  • Promote team work and a positive work environment
