Overview
Our client a leader in radiation therapy and radiosurgery and are looking for an experienced material handler for 6 months with the potential to be converted.

Supports production control inventory activities, to include the monitoring of the physical and logical movement of material, reconciling differences, and stocking activities. Is also responsible for assisting with physical inventories.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assemble work order kits and issue materials to work orders using our ERP system
  • Communicate part shortage issues, shipment tracking information with co-works via e-mail as needed
  • Pick, pack and ship service spare part kits, high level of attention to detail required
  • Prepares shipments to return to suppliers
  • Prepares items and documents for outbound shipment
  • Special delivery or pick-up of items as required, using a company-owned box truck
  • Follows safety, health and quality requirements and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Cycle count inventory locations in the shipping area
  • Ship consumable sales order directly to customer site
  • Works in a Team environment
  • Assembly crates, boxes, pallets to complete shipments
  • Support other shipping areas as backup if required
  • Ship expedited service spare part orders
  • Knowledge of UPS/FedEx processing systems
  • Follow ISO controlled SOPs
 
Preferred or Desired:
  • Fork Lift and pallet jack operation training /certification preferred.
 
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of shipping and stockroom control using a computerized inventory system.
  • Inventory control, work order kitting and cycle counting knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve issues with own and other departments.
  • International shipment preparation and tracking knowledge a plus
  • Experience with safety and quality system requirements (OSHA, FDA, ISO) a plus
  • Must be organized and have attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of ERP inventory management systems, SAP, Oracle, AX
  • Forklift operation training / certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically active position with frequent climbing of ladders, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Must possess valid Wisconsin driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Basic computer skills
