Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, efficient electronic assembler to join our repair team. In this position, you will assemble and repair projector parts, pieces, and products using an array of tools and equipment. Emphasis on quality, a dedication to performing work accurately, and a keen attention to detail are a must.
 Job Duties:
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions (MPI), blueprint specifications, and parts lists; verify and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
  • Inspect projector before repairing include cosmetics and serial number matching with traveler number
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Scan components serial number into the manufacturing shop floor system for tracking purpose
  • Prepare accessories; labeling and inspect all the projectors before packing by BOM
  • Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
  • Listen to directions from supervisors.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet specifications and quality standards
  • Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, able to input data into a computer and work with computer screen for long periods of time. Standing, walking, sitting, talking, listening, bending, squat, reaching with hands and arms. Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ensure that equipment is operational by handling preventative maintenance, performing regular quality checks, and calling for repairs when necessary
  • Requires High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate’s degree preferred, but not required
  • 1+ years of assembly experience
  • Must have experience in consumer electronics product maintenance and repair high tech environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, safety management, and controls and instrumentation
  • Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
