Position Overview:

Our client, an industry leader in the design and development of high performance racing products is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to help develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. The perfect candidate would enjoy the world of fast action sports and is pursuing an opportunity to grow within a company. 

  • Play a key part in the evolution of manufacturing methods
  • Have knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • Evaluate and manage workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to ensure for maximum efficiency in the work space.
  • You can brainstorm with the planning and design staff on subjects such as product design and tooling.
  • Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications
  • Experience with purchasing equipment, materials, or parts from different vendors
  • Ability to evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide data to assist with management decisions and production processes
  • Knowledge with statistics to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Experience with developing and evaluating manufacturing processes
  • Has experience with improving manufacturing efficiency
  • Can design testing methods to assure product quality
  • Mathematical knowledge to calculate production, labor, and material costs
  • Knowledge of government regulations
  • Coordinates maintenance and repair services for equipment when necessary
  • Proficient in writing computer programs to enter data for product and processes
  • Expectation to attend education workshops to increase knowledge and maintain professional growth.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
  • Must have bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • Seasoned in Hardware Specifications, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing. Quality, Product Development, Presenting Technical Information, CAD, CAD/CAM, SolidWorks.
  • Working experience in Toyota Production systems, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product
  • Weld, Press Brake, and Laser knowledge
  • Experience in APQP, PFMEA, Structured problem-solving
