Summary:
Our client, a next-generation logistics startup, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team at our HQ office in Menlo Park, CA. You will work in the trenches of a start up as a member of the close-knit group that drives the company’s core activity - Delivery Operations. Are you a smart and resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn’t afraid of tackling one task, then the next, then thinks, “What else can I do to help out?”

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain driver schedules across 18 major US markets, balancing
    forecasting requirements with scheduling targets.
  • Manage relationships with drivers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Support the operations team and oversee daily schedule changes to ensure real time
    driver coverage.
  • Respond to driver correspondences via text, email and voicemail.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to determine driver capacity and schedule drivers
    accordingly, based on forecast and driver submitted availability.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 2-5 years experience in: account management, project management, scheduling, or
    other relevant experience.
  • You are passionate, creative, and excel in fast-paced, fluid environments
  • You are resourceful, friendly, organized, and a master of multitasking
  • You are resourceful and have a knack for solving
    ambiguous problems
  • You communicate effectively, clearly and confidently via phone and email/chat
  • You are flexible and ready for a challenge at a moment’s notice. You know that
    startups change at the drop of a hat, but you’re excited to evolve professionally and
    learn everyday
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office and/or Google Docs
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as: desk.com, Zendesk preferred
  • You are willing to be on call weekends and/or evenings
