Hours:  7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
 
Position Summary:
A thriving Biotechnology company in San Diego is seeking a Senior Site Specialist to join their team.  The Senior Site Specialist will provide outstanding service to our client’s facility as well as serve as a liaison between the company and the client. 
 
Essential Functions
  • Abide to all procedures listed in Best Practices, SOP’s & work instructions.
  • Independently makes decisions and utilizes available resources to meet customer requirements.
  • Familiar with Intranet and SharePoint document management system.
  • Learns new proprietary systems easily and quickly.
  • Operates SAP, eScout, PeopleSoft, Arriba and other customer systems
  • Executes 3rd party and Agent buys
  • Makes on-site program replenishments and disbursements.
  • Completes stockroom duties of receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts and detrashing.
  • Follows Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
  • Analyzes/maintains/reconciles various customer reports to ensure customer and client requirements are met.
  • Continue to increase knowledge of new policies and enhancements.
  • Listens to customer feedback and handles any dissatisfaction that may occur.
  • Produce metrics, that may include: inventory cycle counts and inventory planning.
  • Sourcing and cross referencing
  • Works with AP to resolve open invoices/pricing issues
  • Works back order reports
  • Designs and maintains basic key performance indicators
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Spearheads Internal presentations
 
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • 3-5 years customer service experience, inventory management, and purchasing experience.
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Office suites
  • Must have reliable transportation.
