Our client, a leading manufacturer in architectural glass, is seeking a Site Operations Associate to provide service and support for the commissioning and operation of our client’s control systems.  The ideal candidate will have experience in operating enterprise class systems and services.  If you are a creative problem solver and love working in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Mentored issue remediation on new & existing installations to ensure systems meet building occupancy requirements.
  • Develop and improve continuous-integration capabilities.
  • Experience with control systems relating to building intelligence & automation.
  • Develop a strategy to troubleshoot systems
  • Continue to develop knowledge of system to provide corrective support
  • Experience reading technical materials
  • Create written materials such as: SOPs, Reference materials, templates, and more.
  • Cultivate a culture of customer satisfaction based on operational excellence, big picture understanding, continuous improvement, and proactive thinking.
  • Assure that the Voice of Operations is appropriately represented in product & implementation strategy within all departments of the company.
  • Identify and document all anomalies or defects,
  • Ability to assist engineering team in assessing anomalies.
  • Work closely with the warehouse to ensure resources arrive in a timely manner.
  • Manage cases from start to finish with full documentation; including pictures, troubleshooting, and any unique issues for defect filing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 1+ years of work experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field.
  • Entry-level troubleshooting in a large-scale environment.
  • Beginning knowledge of Linux operating system.
  • Background in INet, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Automated Logic Controls, Alerton, a plus.
  • Entry-level computer literacy, with ability to learn how to configure and debug computer, networking and electronic control system issues.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
