A thriving Financial Services company in San Diego, CA is seeking an IT Support Specialist to assist them on a temporary basis.  The IT Support Specialist will be the first point of contact for advisors and internal customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Support advisors for various applications and functions.
  • Provide clear communication between all departments within IT to restore and identify problems.
  • Document IT Service Desk procedures, as well as accurately classify and document request and incidents.
  • Previous experience utilizing a ticketing system.
  • Provide excellent end-to-end customer service to customers.
  • Set up, test, upgrade, troubleshoot, and deploy a variety of applications.
  • Prepare daily problem reports.
  • Experience with software utilization and technology.
Requirements:
  • College Degree in computer science and 5 years of equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in PC software and hardware support in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows 7,8, and 10.
  • Knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Office, and other productivity suites.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration.
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Work flexible house based off business needs – off business hours, on-call, and weekends as necessary
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
