About the company:
Our client designs, develops and manufactures premium performance compact ultrasound solutions, which combine its proprietary technology with an innovative physical design. The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities and driving all active Engineering Projects between San Jose, Shenzhen China and OEM Partnerships.  If you are a self-starter and can drive a support consensus between diverse groups of individuals, we’d love to hear from you!


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development of all engineering projects.
  • Coordinate activities to corporate partnerships, such as new product introductions and schedules.
  • Take ownership of schedules, budget adherence, and issues/risks of all engineering projects.
  • Experience with reporting, report and document generation, and planning.
  • Manage and ensure the timely closure of field issues along with quality and regulatory issues.
  • Oversee manufacturing and provided services.
  • Report all findings to VP of Engineering.
  • Work closely with Head of Operations, Head of Service, and Head of OEM relationships.
  • Coordinate with 3 different parties- internal, Shenzen China, and other applicable companies.
  • Visit the headquarters, corporate partnership headquarters, field offices and end customer sites as needed.
 
Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 3 years of project management experience in Engineering.
  • BS in EE or SW degree, MBA a plus.
  • Previous Management, Service, and Operational experience.
  • Proficient in Power Point and MS Office.
  • Great negotiation skills.
  • Ultrasound experience, a plus.
  • Must be open to travel (15%) by care and plane, domestic and international.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese, a plus.
  • ISO or FDA experience desired.
