Contract Role Until 1/31/19

Position Overview:
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist III will create solid business relationships with suppliers and internal customers; - Organize and lead business reviews with suppliers; - Serve as commodity expert for assigned commodities; - Conduct and manage request-for-proposal process; - Negotiate pricing and other business terms with suppliers, conduct industry bench-marking of pricing, and make recommendations on programs to reduce supplier costs; - Support internal customers by facilitating accurate and favorable transactions, and on-going supplier management and accountability; - Assist as necessary with projects to improve and streamline the Procurement departments processes.
Skills Required:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience; - 4-6 years of direct experience in procuring and managing hardware, software and services spend; - Strong experience supporting Real Estate/Facilities and Information Technology and Engineering departments; - Experience within or working with top-tier companies; - Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel). 
Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and appropriate dissemination of sensitive and confidential information; - Must make sound decisions and produce accurate and timely results; - Must prioritize and organize work in a fast paced multi-task environment; - Must accurately interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; - Must build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and management; - Must be able to win support from customer based on skills, experience and collaboration.
