Principal Objective

Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the Custodian/Set Up role is to provide exceptional building services to a Church and its residencies.
 
Requirements
  • Passionate about serving people, building community and growing the Kingdom.
  • To insure the safety, cleanness and comfort of the Church Facilities.
  • Responsible for 24-hour emergency on-call service as scheduled.
  • Carry cell phone as required for text and on-call maintenance.
  • California licensed and proficient in driving company vehicles.
  • Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Manual.
  • This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
  • Professional team player with an energetic, friendly personality.

  • Opening and closing facilities including locks, temperature control and lighting.
  • Event setup and break down including audio/video.
  • Cleaning which includes but is not limited to garbage/recycle removal, vacuuming, carpet cleaning and window washing.
  • Do esthetical repairs and restoration which may include light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, repair broken furnishings and change light bulbs.
  • Occupational hazards and standard safety practices necessary in the area of work assigned.
  • Identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Work independently in the absence of supervision.
  • Able to access and use company Facilities Management Software.
  • Understand and follow oral and written directions.
