Our client is an amazing high- tech company who is seeking a highly motivated Event Assistant to assist with marketing events. The company offers great perks as well a fun and casual work environment!

Responsibilities include: 
  • Handle day-to-day planning and execution of events
  • Co-manage logistics, coordinate travel, assist with contracts (catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitees and guests list, equipment, and promotional material).
  • Assist in managing deadlines and coordinating with appropriate internal teams to manage projects
  • Prepare and assemble any event/show kits/items as needed for shipping
  • Assist with maintaining inventory/stock of marketing department items
  • Assist with supporting internal and external requests with budgeting, execution, team and vendor management, analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all the members of the organization and all site customers by providing exceptional customer service experience.
  • Coordinate with all potential vendors (agencies)
  • During events, be a point person for any last-minute assists and requests.
  • Data entry and other miscellaneous data keeping/reviewing/collecting as needed
  • Assist in reconciling the Marketing department receipts as needed to track budget
Job Requirements:
  • 2+ years of marketing or event coordination assistance required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record and the ability to work in a fast-paced marketing department and event environment. 
  • Ability to successfully work with and manage outside agencies and vendors
  • Background experience in the high-tech/storage industry is highly desired
  • Ability to calmly handle changing demands and timelines
  • Work well under pressure
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Strong teamwork and a positive attitude are a must
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Must be able to life 30lbs
