Our client is currently seeking a high energy Senior Business Analyst to join their corporate procurement team. In this highly collaborative role, you will need to work across the organization to drive key P2P initiatives and strategic projects that support those initiatives.  This position has 2 areas of focus. Your time would be divided on Project Management 60% and Tableau development 40%. The projects focus on the P2P process. Understanding Procure to Pay in identifying and implementing process improvements are critical for your success. Having some Tableau development experience is also critical.
  • Develop a deep understanding of P2P processes and the key metrics that measure business performance.
  • Analyze business performance, derive insights, identify and monitor key trends, and answer key business questions for senior management and executives.
  • Use data to analyze business problems and make insights and recommendations to improve the process and eliminate the problems.
  • Identify where automation can improve customer experience as well as reduce unwanted behavior.
  • Efficiently and accurately prepare data for analysis, perform extensive QA of data to maintain quality control of final deliverables, and work with data teams to close potential data issues.
  • Create reports and data visualizations.
  • Proactively identify business improvement opportunities through systematic and rigorous analysis.
  • Present to stakeholders, clearly communicating strategic findings and recommendations
  • Presentation of complex subject matter in a clear and concise matter.
  • BA Degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or 4+ years of related experience with a high school degree or GED.
  • Strong business acumen with critical thinking and analysis skills
  • Ability to use data and metrics to back up business cases, planning, and decisions.
  • High attention to detail and passion for continuous improvement
  • Commitment to deliver outstanding results.
  • Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and directed individual, strong team player, and problem-solver.
  • Effective communication and alignment with stakeholders including peers, technical resources, and senior executives, using strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior work experience on an analytics team in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze datasets and create analytic reports.
  • Advanced in Excel (pivot tables, functions, statistics).
  • Experience with SQL coding and data warehouse tables is a plus.
  • “Associate Qualified” certification in Tableau
  • Experience in preparing PowerPoint presentations
  • Understanding of relational databases and data warehouse architecture is a plus.
