As a Project Software Engineer you will build secure, scalable, and reliable technologies, giving you full-stack exposure to many of the latest technologies their team is working on, including Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, Electron and more.
  • Work on a large, complex software system and be interested in solving complex software problems in a collaborative agile environment.
  • Learn quickly in a highly-collaborative workspace that encourages pairing and knowledge sharing, and values quality practices such as test-driven development
  • Be an important member of one of several small teams, working closely with our product managers, to implement, innovate, design, and build next generation control system software.
  • Help identify issues and participate in architecture discussions. 
  • Use modern continuous integration and development tools, and promote continuous improvement of engineering tools and practices across the global development organization
  • Participate as a member of an agile team within the Scaled Agile Framework, promoting agile practices within the team
  • Participate in all aspects of the embedded software quality process, including design and code review, and developing unit and functional testware
  • Implement automated tests; expand and improve automated test coverage, practices, and procedures
  • BS or Masters in Engineering/CS
  • ​8+ years of professional software experience.
  • 1+ years developing commercial or open source software in Angular, HTML5, CSS/SASS, TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS.
  • Must have experience working with a team using Agile
  • Unit testing and automation.
  • Great communication skills a must
  • High collaboration; desire to pair, learn, and teach; and ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to create software components and frameworks that are testable, reusable, and easy to change.
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality code, and passionate about great design and code quality.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, handle uncertainty and ambiguity, and ability to contribute quickly.
  • Familiarity with Protractor, Karma, Jasmine, RxJs, Material components and either NgRx or Redux.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Command Line.
  • Experience with writing secure software.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and infrastructures
  • Knowledge of control system engineering, process control and S88 a plus!
