TCW’s open sales environment is built for a Business Development Manager that wants to sell and run their “own business.” You will directly control what you make, commission is calculated as a percent of profit.  TCW is a well-established leader in the market with a solid base of clients that you and prospective clients will know and recognize. You will be provided with knowledge and support as needed. This is not a micromanaged environment, but you will be responsible for making 70 cold calls per day, every day and closing new business.
Expected Compensation:
1st year- $90k
2nd year- $115k
3rd year- $140k
These numbers are exceeded by the majority, and we also have had reps that come in just under them. 4th year reps earn in the $150-$220k range, our commission structure allows you to build a solid base of commission and grow it over time (and grow your career, too.)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to join our team in the Western and Eastern United States. This is a remote position. As a member of TCW’s Business Development team, you will be accountable for proactively developing leads from Prospect to Client.  This will involve researching and identifying leads, cold calling/emailing, setting appointments and closing … a hunter role that is both challenging and consultative.  On-going account maintenance is handled by our account management team, but you will still be responsible for checking and cultivating referrals. The typical sales cycle is 120+ days, some happen in a couple days, some take two years.
  • Research and input new leads
  • Develop a pipeline of prospective business
  • Cold-calling 70 prospects per day, mandatory part of job including concurrent emails
  • Close (assisted or unassisted) new business
  • Build and maintain relationships with Prospects and Clients through written/verbal communication
  • Develop deep knowledge of our products and services, we will want you to learn and become very HR-literate and a command of industry vernacular and concepts
  • Attend, contribute and add to team meetings for professional development
Position Requirements:
  • Preferred 1-3 years of experience in business to business (B to B) service sales. Professional service sales and/or staffing industry sales is a plus, but not required
  • Stamina and drive to make your required cold calls

  • Networking, relationship management, CRM, and LinkedIn prowess
Travel Requirements:
  • Approximately 10 – 30 days per year within the territory and/or North America plus regular visits to San Diego office.
