As a Systems Engineer, you will be supporting the networks and systems for the PEO C4I PMW 160 Tactical Networks Program Office. You will provide technical and programmatic analysis in support of installation, design, and testing platforms for the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
 Job Duties
  • Perform technical analysis to ensure seamless integration of systems engineering activities.
  • Apply systems engineering principles to support design and development activities of tactical networks systems.
  • Support collaboration with external entities in the execution of systems engineering activities
  • Establish and maintain systems engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with program Lead Engineers to collect and analyze impacts of proposed changes to systems.
  • Support the execution of Technical Reviews in alignment with Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes.
  • Review and update existing technical documentation for applicable systems, create new documentation as needed.
  • Support the planning and execution of IPTs by generating meeting materials, minutes, action items and tracking action items to completion.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer networking, engineer, or related discipline
  • 3 years of experience with Enterprise IT Networks, CANES and/or ADNS preferred
  • 3 years of experience with IT Network Design and Deployment
  • Basic understanding of ship and shore-based Navy Communications and Network Infrastructure systems
  • Secret clearance required
  • BA or BS degree
  • Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 10-15% travel may be required
