Our client is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Lead to direct testing on one of our project teams. They are seeking talent that have a passion for games that deliver high-quality player experiences. You will have the opportunity to join a team of industry veterans at an autonomous organization with room for growth.  They have worked on development projects for some of the most renowned AAA games that span generations.
 
Everyday Tasks
  1. QA Lead will oversee test operations. This involves
  2. You will work extensively with team and studio leads as well as external partners to ensure our games maintain a high-quality bar throughout development and release.
  3. Work closely with project leadership to assess development plans and identify test coverage needs
  4. Manage project database, workflow, bug entry and regression
  5. Lead functional and qualitative testing by clearly defining required test plans and test criteria across multiple test area teams
  6. Create and supervise QA assignments and provide status reports to leadership
  7. Identify and communicate bug trends. Report findings and adjust coverage accordingly
  8. Develop new or enhanced test practices and tools to streamline test efforts
  9. Assist project leads with development tasks ranging from marketing videos to low-level design implementation
  10. Experience with usability and user research testing
  11. Experience with test automation and authoring test tools
  12. Knowledge of world building tools such as Radiant, Unreal, Hammer, Max and/or Maya
 
Experiences
  1. You have more  than five years of quality assurance experience with proven leadership capabilities
  2. Worked on two or more AAA games from start to finish in a Lead or Management role
  3. Excellent leadership and effective communication skills
  4. Database workflow and management experience. Proficient with databases such as (JIRA, TTP or others_
  5. Ability to address situations from a project impact perspective
  6. Waterfall and Agile development experience
  7. Ability to effectively communicate ideas and finding across disciplines and across multiple levels of management
  8. This position is eligible for relocation to Austin, TX.
