Systems Engineer- (A-PNT) Subject Matter Expert- San Diego

Duties & Qualifications of great candidate-
  1. Provide direct support to technical director to lead efforts regarding non-GPS Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) solutions.
  2. Be the subject matter expert (SME) on alternatives-to-GPS PNT solutions and their transition to operational capabilities.
  3. Establish, collect, and maintain a broad knowledge base of all DoD alternatives-to-GPS PNT projects.
  4. Assess the technical readiness levels of alternatives to GPS and provide technical recommendations.
  5. Define technical analysis methods, conduct independent research, and present findings.
  6. Develop and present technical white papers and executive level briefings.
  7. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical degree strongly preferred
  8. 15 years of experience with afloat/ashore PNT solutions with Department of Defense; SPAWAR, PMW, or PEO C4I preferred
  9. Experience with product/portfolio road map definition and illustration
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  11. Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
  12. Excellent communication skills
  13. 25% travel is required
  14. Active Top Secret clearance required with eligibility for SCI
