Overview:
Due to rapid growth, our client, a division of a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company, is seeking to add a Statistical programmer. This not project based work, but an ongoing need that is designed to become a full time / direct hire role. 
 
The Consultant Programmer is responsible for statistical programming tasks to support the clinical development of our pharmaceutical client’s projects. This is a great opportunity to contribute and grow with a Fortune 100 company matching top salaries depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently generate complex datasets, perform statistical analysis to validate output from CROs
  • Perform ad hoc and exploratory data analyses.
  • Perform targeted review of CRO deliverables, including tables, listings, figures, and CDISC data
  • Manage and conduct interactions related to programming deliverables with programming team at CRO
Education/Experience:
  • Master's Degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field.
  • Understanding of clinical protocols, deep understanding of clinical data flow and analysis data sets.
  • Strong planning and project management skills with experience in a pharmaceutical statistical department.
  • Demonstrated skill in the implementation of analyses and reporting of clinical trials.
  • Detailed knowledge of FDA guidance documents related to dataset packages for NDAs.
  • Knowledge of CDISC standards
  • Excellent SAS skills including report generation. Ability to program simulations desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with statisticians, medical personnel, clinical monitors, data managers, regulatory personnel, programmers, and medical writers.
  • Experience in the development of medications for the respiratory therapeutic area desirable #DI
