We are seeking a Linux Helpdesk Technician for a global internet and gaming company.  In this position, you will be responsible for reading and communicating tickets to the Linux Developers.  In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the infrastructure and collaborating with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
  • Assist users in Linux requests, understand, and effectively communicate tickets to Linux Developers
  • Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure
  • Provide feedback to senior leadership team, making suggestions on how to better improve the system
Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  • Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
  • 4+ years administering Linux system
