Pay rate: $23-34/hr (DOE)

This is a three month position. The ideal candidate will have experience transporting oversize loads as well as experience in transportation and inventory processes and a clean driving record


• The Logistics Technician will be reporting to our Logistics Supervisor responsible for the transport of flight vehicles out of our McGregor, TX facility
• Will support packaging and loading of flight equipment onto vehicle transport apparatuses
• This person will be responsible for all related tasks supporting flight vehicle transport
• Will work with Logistics Supervisor to plan and ensure hardware and supply inventory is available when needed
• Will work with other technicians to manage transport process and conduct general maintenance of all hardware
• Will support post-operations of flight vehicle transport
• Aid in managing transport equipment and material needed for operational success
• Locating and marshaling items that will be needed based on the checklist provided by Logistics Supervisor
• Communicate with cross functional teams, prioritize multiple tasks, follow through projects to completion, come up with creative ideas that make processes more efficient, and adapt to an ever changing fast paced environment
• Assisting with Shipping and Receiving when not working directly with flight vehicles
• Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED required
• Current driver license
• Clean driving record

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Prior CDL experience (Current CDL is not needed)
• One year of experience with transport of oversized loads
• Forklift and heavy equipment operation experience
• Working knowledge of transport and inventory processes
• Fragile item packaging experience
• Heavy machinery operation experience
• Knowledge of Shipping and receiving logistics
• Prior experience with WARP procurement or inventory systems

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel 50%
• Must be willing to work overtime hours as needed
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
